We must meet the lease requirements to stay open.
Our lease with the National Park Service requires us to make expensive restorations to the facility, all of which must come from donations. We are a non-profit with no other income.
The NPS requires us to restore the buildings and grounds of this historic dairy ranch. The 100 year-old milkroom and calving barns, bunkhouse, dairyman's residence, outbuildings, creeks and grounds all must be restored and maintained, at our cost. The only way we can meet the Lease requirements is through donations.
